The American Embassy experience.
I have heard Colin Powell's speech so many times I know exactly what the Bush government has in store for us. Other than that it was a really tense experience which ended in quite an anticlimax where the interviewer just asked me for my degree and gave me the visa! I was very very relieved of course, even though Megha had told me to relax and take it easy because she had had such an easy time of it!
So it is settled then, I will be heading back to the US. Damn. And to think yesterday afternoon, Tarun and I just sat at the market next to his house and swung our legs singing - "whatcha going to do now, absolutely nothing!" for a good half an hour. It was a fun day!
