The New York Times > AP > International > Church Wraps Up Official Mourning Period

As the end of the Pope reign is signalled, one wonders how he touched the lives of millions around the world, those who believed and even those who did not. Was he a man who professed his religion as the greatest one, or was he a tolerant man who preached the religion of humanity. I wonder, and I guess I will never truly know. However, whatever his nature, he was definitely a kind man and a good man, a man of God, may he rest in peace.

I was just reading about all the various rituals that take place when a new Pope is being elected and how these have been followed for a long time. It is remarkable that in todays day and age it is still being done... and commedable.

I hope God gives them the strength to chose a forgiving messenger.
