Treatment for text message addict

Finally proof that emails are addictive! This fellow in Scotland is undergoing treatment for spending 4500 pounds last year on Text Messaging alone. He apparently send 8000 emails in one month! And my boss says I email a lot!

A tragedy that could not have happened at a worse time, right before the onset of winter. Its like walking towards certain death and not being able to do anything about it. SO. Where is the world, how many millions have been pledged and not delivered. Where is the US, can't see them pouncing to aid their brethren in POK ? My heart frankly goes out to them. I can only remotely imagine what the state must be of affairs, forcing people to pillage houses for food, for medicines, for life itself.

Here people are dying and the Times Of India does an article about how the quake could have done collateral damage to Terrorist Camps. Seriously, we have been shouting about terrorist camps for the last 20 years and no one has done anything about it. 4 years ago 9/11 comes all along and the world wakes up and now everybody is a terrorist even poor souls in the London underground waiting for the girlfriends. It is really becoming a crazy world!

There are somethings that one just can't understand and this is one of them. This poor girl died in the midst of people who were comforting her, but could not do anything to save her.

The photojournalist says:
"I am very clear about what I do and how I do it, and I try to do my job with as much honesty and integrity as possible. I believe the photo helped raise money from around the world in aid and helped highlight the irresponsibility and lack of courage of the country's leaders. There was an obvious lack of leadership. There were no evacuation plans, yet scientists had foreseen the catastrophic extent of the volcano's eruption."

I guess anyone in their right mind would have tried to help, maybe there was no way. Maybe somethings are destined, some things you can't stop, you can just stand aside and feel helpless.
