Closed to Visitors

Just had to take this shot to prove to Pallavi that the New Library at Oxford was closed to visitors! This building apparently had like 4 or 7 seven floors below the ground and stuff. This was from our trip to London in May 2005.

Operating Systems ..

Can you believe this! I downloaded this new software called Picasa2 and it dug this up for me!! This is a gif from 2003 where we had to build a multithreaded game for operating systems. That was a fun thing to do, believe it or not!

So people are running around making their own movies with the star wars theme. 20,000 or something is what this cost. Not bad, I am still downloading it however to watch it. You can too... its free!

Death Of The Desktop

An Interesting concept - Pay 5 bucks or 10 bucks a month and have everything hosted off a website so that you can get to it any time from anywhere. All your documents and everything. The whole aim is to replace the desktop. The only thing that makes me wonder is the security. How can I put my private documents and musings in the hands of others to play around with, look at or even sell to third parties. OK so maybe I am being a bit paranoid, but still. It makes on wonder!
